A very successful conference was held on 12 June 2008 at the central London campus of the University of Westminster.

2008年6月12号, 题为“转变和挑战:当今中国传媒”的大型学术会议在威斯敏斯特大学摄政校区成功举办。

Keynote speaker was Wang Lei, famous investigative journalist from Southern City Daily who is now also deputy Editor at Yunnan Daily. Among the papers were Comparative Research between Chinese and International Media Reporting on Lhasa Riot by Guo Xiaoke, Tsinghua University, ‘Let a Hundred Celebrities Bloom’: Does China Face a New Cultural Revolution? by Wang Ting, University of Leeds, Creating Law-Abiding Citizens: A study of Legal Programmes on Chinese Television by Marina Svensson, University of Lund.
