Pantelis Vatikiotis is Associate Professor at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture and Co-Coordinator of e-Campaigning Path in the MA Program “Digital Transformation: e-diplomacy, e-campaigning and digital law” at Panteion University (Athens, Greece), where he served as the Director of Journalism Lab (J-Lab) from 2022 to 2025.  Since April 2025 he serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Athens – Macedonian News Agency.

His research and teaching interests include: journalism, digital media, political economy of media, alternative media, social movements and activism.
