Drawing upon his article offering a critical theory-perspective on authoritarian capitalism and Donald Trump published last week by TripleC, Professor Christian Fuchs speaks to Tom Cheshire of Sky News about changing politics and it’s relationship to changing technology.
In the interview Christian Fuchs told Sky News: “If you look at the evolution of politics, then it stands in relationship to the evolution of technology.
“Even when politicians and presidents have a lot of attention in public, they try to use the newest technologies.
“What Trump is using is two media of his time. One is social media, where superficiality, speed and brevity fits his personality. The other one is reality TV.”
