The ground-breaking book on mental health and the music industry ‘Can Music Make You Sick? Measuring the Price of Musical Ambition’ by Sally Anne Gross and Dr. George Musgrave is now available as an audiobook. The was published in 2020 by the University of Westminster Press, quickly climbing to Amazon Number 1 Best Seller in ‘Sociology of Work’. Joe Muggs (DJ, Promoter, Journalist), has described the book as ‘the best guide to what being a musician, and what “the music industry” actually are that I can remember reading’

Voiced by Dr. George Musgrave the audiobook is being released as one chapter each week. Reflecting the open-access nature of the book itself , the audiobook is being made freely available across a wide range of podcast providers and streaming platforms. A downloadable paid-for version will shortly be available via Audible for anyone who wants to get all the episodes at once!
