CAMRI’s Tarik Sabry and Winston Mano Invited Keynote Speakers in Morocco

CAMRI Scholars, Professors Tarik Sabry and Winston Mano, took part in a keynote panel at the University of Mohamed 6 in Morocco, to inaugurate the opening of the Africa Research Centre.  The centre plans to fund cutting edge interdisciplinary research on Africa. The keynote panel was part of the conference under the theme “Reading African Societies” organised and hosted by the Centre for African Studies at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, located in Benguerir, Morocco. The three-day event, from 7-9 December 2023, brought together international scholars from different disciplines including archeology, arts, history, philosophy, political science, media studies and sociology. The Africa Studies Center is devoted to promoting, documenting and teach studies relating to the African continent and from Africa’s vantage point.
