CAMRI’s Mano interviewed by Moroccan Public Broadcaster

Winston Mano was interviewed by Al Aoula’s “Science and Civilisation”, a Moroccan public service TV programme, which was broadcast on March 20, 2024. The show highlights distinguished experts, scholars and researchers across various scientific disciplines. Previously, CAMRI’s Professor Tarik Sabry was featured on the same programme two weeks prior.

The interview was held on the sidelines of the “Reading African Societies: Texts, Gestures, Techniques” event organised by the Center for African Studies at UM6P from 7-9 December 2023. Mano engaged with the host PR Ali Benmakhlouf, a Philosophy Professor trained at Sorbonne, who also leads the newly established Center for African Studies. In the conversation, Mano provided insights into his background and introduced his research on Afrokology and its intersection with media studies.
