Donna Chu, currently associate professor in the School of Journalism and Communication in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, works on research about youth media culture, gender and media literacy. Since 2012, she has started a media literacy summer project for secondary school students in Hong Kong. In 2017, she has founded Mars Media Academy, a social enterprise, to engage in the teaching and learning of media and information literacy in networked society.
