In an interconnected and interdependent world, challenges to social cohesion, whether based on race, religion, culture or ethnicity, can no longer be considered purely as an internal matter and must be accounted for at the international level. This Expert Roundtable session discussed the interplay between race, culture wars and political polarisation at the local and global levels.
