KyonWoo Son is a Visiting Researcher at CAMRI.
As a deputy director, he has been working for Korea Communications Commission(KCC).
Through the Chairman’s Secretariat, Privacy Protection and Ethics Division and Regional Media Policy Division at KCC,
he has gained various experience on policies about Terrestrial broadcasting and Program providers,
Privacy protection and Prevention of illegal harmful information distribution,
Broadcasting advertisement and Media diversity, etc.
His research interest in CAMRI is to find the optimal policy to resolve the side effects of disinformaion and misinformaion.
It includes variety of means like legislation, self-regulation, media literacy, etc.
