Maria Michalis has join the Advisory Board of POLObs , the Observatory on Science, Communication and Culture Policies of the Communication and Society Policy Research Centre, University of Minho, Portugal. Michalis joins a board of renowned international researchers from across the world.

POLObs is an Observatory on Science, Communication and Culture Policies that operates across the three research groups of the Communication and Society Research Centre. The project aims to monitor the key actions underlying the field of communication and culture in Portugal. The project focuses on public policies in key media and communication areas including science and education.
